1. Introduction

Today, we bring you one of the cheapest Intel processors, which will only set you back about Rs. 599. We unboxed a bunch of processors and tested them with lightweight games. I am referring about the oldest, or first-generation, Intel processor, the Intel i3 540!

Will we be attempting both Windows Experience and Games? Above it Is purchasing this kind of processor in 2024 really worth it? Let's investigate.

2. Installation

As the processor is old, we need an old motherboard.  This processor can be run on Zebronics 1156 Motherboard. Installation is very easy. You just need to insert it on the processor slot.

3. Windows and gaming test

You cannot install Windows 10/11 on it. However, you can run Windows 7/8/8.1 on it. You can do browsing work on it. Office can work but with lags. So, you cannot run games on it.

4. Conclusion: Buy or not
